Sept 20, 2021 – Jan 31, 2022: COVID certificate requirement in the ICU Lounge

After a two year period where the ICU Lounge has mostly been empty, we are happy to open it again for all our members. However, to do this and to provide a safe space, we decided for a COVID certificate requirement. This has two main reasons:

  • Since the university requires a COVID certificate in all modules, most of the students who are in the buildings have a COVID certificate anyways.
  • We can open the ICU Lounge only for all members and without the capacity restriction of 3 people if a certificate is shown. The certificate mandate seemed to be the better solution.

Therefore, you have two options to come and chill in the ICU Lounge (almost) as before:

  • Show a valid COVID certificate + ID to a board member each time you enter the ICU Lounge.
  • Show a valid COVID certificate + ID (only vaccinated or recovered and valid until January 31, 2022) to a board member once. Thereafter, he/she adds you to a list (stored in a private Confluence space) such that you can enter the ICU Lounge only by telling us your name.
